New Year's Resolution + Big Thanks!

So my Coastal Cowboy Photography's 2010 Resolution is to promote my work on a larger scale, and become a better business woman!

I would like to thank those of you who trusted me with capturing your important memories this year, and especially all the cowboys who so quietly put up with my camera in their every action!

I went on my first beach shoot over Thanksgiving, and had fun working with them to get shots that were not too "posed". Here are our favorites!

Fall Gathering & Swim to Matagorda

This past saturday was a SUPER foggy morning...

I felt like my photos were shot, but Stephen convinced me that sometimes what makes my photos stand out, is the fact that I catch scenes that the average public doesn't ever get to see... well, here are some of those pictures - ones that are interesting because they show the REAL side to this life.

SNOW! and ANOTHER hair cut!

It snowed today all along the coast. Locally in my part of the world, from Van Vleck, to Clemville. Unfortunantly, I wasn't home in enough time to see it snowing at my house.

Grady got his 3rd haircut today.

Aggie Ring Day & Dunking of Rings

Jake received his Aggie Ring on Nov 13! Whoop! The whole family traveled to help his celebrate, and also dunk all of our rings together. It was a fun weekend spending good time with family and showing Grady, Stephen, and Pam some of the Aggie traditions that the McLeod family participated in.

It's been a while!

Well, happy Thanksgiving to all! I shot a couple on the beach yesterday, need to process those, and some fun shots of Grady on his 2nd Thanksgiving. Will post later tonight or before the weekend is over. I am headed off tomorrow to buy a new little small digital camera for personal everyday use - hopefully the black friday sale does me good!

Making my list for Christmas - really wanting Uno DVD by Lauren Clark, and some Totally Rad Actions... these are all tools and "how-to" photoshop lessons to make my pictures even better! The teacher in me can never stop learning! I bought Photoshop CS4 a few weekends ago, and can't wait to play around on it, and see what I remember from my classes. Hopefully I can fit in a few more classes before Christmas time.

I hope all your holiday time was well spent - time with family, great food, and rest for the body and soul!

Stone & Marin are such neat kids... Marin is a few months younger than Grady, and very tolerable of him and all his kisses. Stone acts so much older than his 5 years! They are great kids! Here are my favorites... Don't you just LOVE the tu-tu?

Pumpkin Patch & Parade

We had a busy day last Saturday... working in the No Coal Coalition booth at Market Days, playing in the Pumpkin Patch, and watching the Rice Festival Parade to name a few...

Lauren Clark's Brainwash

Lauren Clark is hosting a contest where she is giving away a free Brainwash session (She will teach you all she knows for a day). You have to post a picture of the words BRAINWASH on a blog... so here it is. It is hard to think of something that no one else has taken a picture of... So poor Grady - I edited out his naked rear end though!

Wesley & Amy's Wedding

Stephen was Wesley's Best Man on Oct 3rd. I forgot my camera in the hotel room, so had to beg people to take some pictures of us. Hopefully I will get some soon of Grady and his Godfather, Ben.

Adam & Toni

Adam & Toni allowed me to take their Engagement Portraits this past Sunday. We drove all over their Ranch in Buckeye to find just the right spots, and to recreate the location where Adam proposed... how sweet!

This is my favorite shot, um... I mean shotS - it took me awhile to pick them out! They are both so photogenic!

Annual Sattler River Trip

Each August, we spend the weekend with part of Stephen's family in a little town north of Gruene, called Sattler. Grady had a great time with the endless supply of rocks!

Hey guys... I am finally starting a blog where I can post pictures and information about Coastal Cowboy Photography and the Weathers family!  Hopefully this will be easier than searching through the ENTIRE SmugMug site!
